Evaporation boats

Evaporation boats

Be used in thermal evaporation deposition.
Detail

Tungsten is a very hard, steel-gray transition metal. The tungsten-containing minerals are hematite and scheelite. The physical properties of tungsten are very strong, especially at a melting point of up to 3422 ° C, which is the highest of all pure metals. Pure tungsten is mainly used in electrical and electronic equipment, and many of its compounds and alloys have other uses.

Heaters or carriers for thermal evaporation deposition can be divided into filaments, boats, baskets and crucibles, and materials include tungsten, molybdenum, niobium, graphite and alumina. Depend on the reaction characteristics of the material to be plated, the material loading requirements…etc.

Evaporation boat is a carrier for the coating material. It is placed in the middle of the electrode to form conduction. After the electric current is applied, the evaporation boat is heated to melt the material to evaporate, and the gaseous material molecules are accelerated by heating. Finally, those molecules will coagulate and deposit on the substrate and become a film. (As figure below shows )

There are many sizes of evaporation boats. You can choose the right one according to the needs of processes. (Example: 215, 2 is a thickness of 0.2 mm; 15 is a width of 15 mm, and the length is generally 100 mm.)

We have the most complete molds of evaporation boats in Taiwan. We provide full-scale evaluation and production, and specialize in the production of ultra-large capacity evaporation boats. They can be customized for your experiment and production needs.  Customized products must provide the required specifications to facilitate subsequent evaluation.

During the process, it is inevitable that the evaporation boat might break due to some factors. If you have any questions about that, please refer to the FAQ on our website or leave us a message.
